problem is, their actual job is making money for shareholders (or to pay off hilarious amounts of debt). this has always been the case, but now the mask is off. same with those embracing AI to churn out garbage. there’s no longer a greater aspiration than “money, fast,” nor systems to support it

I’m really liking Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. Action feels great, the map is fun to explore and while it’s clearly pulling visual/sound influence from Hades, it doesn’t feel derivative.
