Irish, former Villa North Stand season ticket holder, haven't been since moving to Canada in 2009 (last game was a 2-0 home loss to Wigan). Mostly Villa-related chat and opinions. Will always give a follow back.

Another really solid performance and that’s 3 wins on the bounce, unbeaten in 7, 1 loss in 10. Ok there’s a friendly in there and a cup game but it’s building very nicely now. The side looks great with strength, pace all over the squad. It’s going to be another classic season.

We also had to sell off half the squad who won that trophy and then rebuild, to avoid falling foul of the rules we and other clubs constantly get punished by, while Citeh danced around them for a decade.

And PS, I think we'll "enjoy" the trophy we won fairly, instead of cheating our way to it. Mightn't be as posh and shiny, definitely worth more.
