Doesn’t seem controversial. Also fellow lefties: all of our complaints about the last 50 years of white supremacy in the GOP conveniently ignores the 100 years of it in the Dem party. It’s an American problem, the GOP didn’t *do* this to us

Nixon was dealing with a heroin epidemic. The law people really hate - the one that established huge disparities for crack vs powder, etc - was a 1986 law championed by the Democratic speaker of the house. You people need to pay me tuition.
