There was no statistically significant association between Oxevision and self harm, restraint, assaults or rapid tranquillisation (after excluding missing and confounding figures) whilst the falls data was fundamentally flawed. The authors overstate and misrepresent their findings.

It is unclear whether Oxehealth/LIO have informed their customers of this. Whilst there is an ongoing investigation regarding data processing associated with Oxevision we call on all trusts to immediately stop using the devices, switch them off at the plug and cover the cameras to reassure patients.
