Tommy didn't ask or care what El-Sayed believed he demanded denunciation to prove that El-Sayed conformed to Tommy’s Christian Nationalist “true American” beliefs, rather than recognizing his constitutional freedom to believe and be whoever he wanted We'd be lucky to have El-Sayed as a senator

maybe Christian Nationalism is a belief system, not a question to be answered the belief is that Christianity should have a privileged place in national identity, government, and public life treating all religions as equal is against that belief, unquestionably so, in their view
