Youngest has returned from his rounds. Among his haul… a potato. It seems a neighbour left out a bucket of potatoes and a bucket of sweets and let the kids decide on their preference. And this wee bam has come home with a spud.

Before my time, but from a reliable source: big name speaker handed his large deck of actual-slides to the undergrad projectionist, who promptly dropped them. With not much time for the talk to begin, they scooped them up and put them back in any old order. Speaker then gave talk in shuffle mode😂
