I miss old dA a lot too ;; I'm holding on to Bluesky tho Im on the fence. As much as I hate AI it seems like every social media site has come to it unless it's gallery sites like Sheezy or Cara become more mainline. Despite being small I still enjoy Sheezy the most out of all sites I've tried ;v;

I understand why gallery sites aren't used more as it's hard to get non-artists interested or reason to join. Especially if you're trying to push comms or sell adopts etc. ;;

The website Cara launched a few years ago and it was staunchly anti-AI. However, from no fault of their own, some immoral jerk decided to scrape the whole site’s data for AI training. That enraged me and many others but it also made people realize that nowhere on the internet is safe from gen AI. 😭
