Fair point! I guess I'll say idk how to shade with like, manually drawing shadows, but I can get behind the idea of making the whole thing a shadow and then removing pieces of the shadow I guess My brain handles removing shadow rather than creating shadow

However I will say I can't shade, my brain isn't wired to understand how to shade. Instead, what I've done here is make a polka dot mesh, make a clipping mask over my art, then apply that mask to a copy of the original art, and then I just remove polka dots in areas that I think should be bright

Sandy you flatter me so! I think my brain's just wired in a weird way. I remember in earlyyy school they'd have us make animals like foxes out of cut up pieces of paper. I think that stuck with me, and then I honed it a lil more with COD Emblem creation (I made a Miku icon in COD with just shapes)

If you ever wanted to know how lazy I get, just know that the toes were made with the Cloud shape tool in affinity designer I draw with vector shapes (think like the rectangle and circle tools), so the whole thing is made with shapes put together like this. I just find the toes especially funny
