No, this is 10kW, max draw for a normal 13A socket in europe is 3.1kW. Cheap induction hobs won't be any faster but fancier models will. Though this one seems to miss one of the nicest benefits of an easy clean totally smooth top. Unclear why designer though putting bumps on this was a good thing.
