I think when people started getting angry at other using the word media is when I just checked out of the whole thing. More related note though, I think YouTuber just feels weird because we grew up in the age of having a professional career on YouTube feeling new, when now it's just a regular thing

My genuine hottest take is that while I get not liking the word "content" I think the furor people have against it is a little exaggerated, I'll take someone passionately talking about their art but calling it content over someone that's caught up with how to describe it over just making it.

Many people who do image generation with AI do it on their own desktop machines, using the same GPUs that are used for other tasks. It's basically saying, "Climate change is caused by this one specific use case of someone using their own computer that I don't like".
