Genuinely, what the hell is going on at PLoS? This paper was submitted Spring 2025, finally got 2 reviews and an R&R late autumn, I resubmitted in Dec 2025. Since then it got no reviews (what happened to original 2?), then lost its editor, moved to a new editor, now ... this? 5 reviews!
