there are no VCs left actually investing is too-early-to-be-sustainable business ideas, just these weird Tulips 5.0 iterations that make no sense when you evaluate them as actual businesses. Hey, but at least the IRR on VC funds is also declining so LPs aren't making any money either?

and it’s not even speculating that a successful, profitable product will emerge. that hasn’t been the play for ages. it’s speculating that they’ll get enough hype and eyeballs that someone will buy them at a profit.
