Shite isn't it! Funnily enough this was a subject that came up recently - political discourse has become so entirely styled around debates it's meant bots are able to fly under the radar and manipulate more effectively cos shorter retorts are easier to pass off as human.

They're real accounts for real people that get reported as spam. There's plenty of bot accounts on here that reply the same thing repeatedly (a lectern/lecturn one for ex) who don't get banned. They're applying the rules differently for Palestinians.
