I learned Yiddish because a few years ago, I inherited some Yiddish books from my grandfather z''l, and by serendipity, around the same time, I saw an article about a new textbook from the Yiddish Book Center. Then I fell in love with tkhines & wanted to learn more. Don't make it about zionism.
