I spent the morning guest lecturing in Mr. Ackerman's DC History and US Government class at School Without Walls HS. We had lots of interesting discussion about Home Rule and the federal government's impact on DC. We also talked about the responsibilities of elected leaders. Thank you for having me!

Beneficial civic projects should not hinge on the single concern, "Can private bondholders take a profit from this?" Public Banking lets decisions hinge on the broader, comprehensive, on-the-ground questions of practical feasibility and sustainability, unencumbered by that private-profit burden. ⬇️

with all these conversations about research integrity, I find it disconcerting to hear "failure" in science described in ways that imply not finding a statistically significant effect. Null results are not a failure of the scientific method!
