The first job I ever had was at a kennel, and the other girl was deaf. She got a hearing dog, and I got to help him him. It was fabulous. He’d let her know the phone was ringing, if someone came in, or if someone was trying to get her attention. We’d tell him to find her, and he’d take her to us.
