I'm so. So fucking obsessed with Kanata's death being this irreconicilable thing that we just cannot glean any confident answers in even as the reader as to whether anyone left in her wake is right about her wishes or what to do with them.

How much of the Kanata in all of those flashbacks was real. How much was a scared little girl that didn't want to die. Nobody can know but herself.
