This comic is especially funny to me today because @0xdr34d.bsky.social and I had the pleasure of @emmie.bsky.social visiting last week and I pulled the two of them into an absinthe tasting session that I organized. As a certified anise enjoyed, I would support aniseed oil on all guillotines. 😁👍

I spent many a Friday and Saturday night like that at a bar in my town that used to have like 10 or 12 different absinthes at a small back bar. If you've got sparkling wine, I recommend some Death in the Afternoons! 1½oz absinthe, 4½oz chilled champagne is basic, but other versions exist.
