I saw a production of this in my 20s, and it made such an impression on me that 30 years later I put it in a crime novel. (No one in the original production died, I hasten to add.)

..although I envied THEIR freedom to do so without derision..!!) At the time, and with the sample size I observed (maybe 200 or so in those years..?) there was definitely a greater homogeneity in girls' handwriting than in boys' batshit variations..!!
