ive heard multiple vendors excuse multiple different events with shoddy organisation as "teething problems". we are beyond teething problems. i don't think this is an acceptable excuse when those organisers have been putting on events for over a decade.

im talking crammed tables with no room for vendors, dangerously-packed halls with no staff in charge of traffic flow, lack of signage, lack of care for artist alley placement, lack of appropriate advertising, general lack of consideration for the on-the-day experience of selling or attending.

saying this as a comic market attendee, vendor, and organiser: we need to start holding event organisers accountable for poor selling conditions when those organisers have 10+ years experience running events and those conditions are easily addressed.
