November 2025 paired Tifa and Aerith together equally, by appointing them both as Lightning. IMO this was a balanced event. Aerith was the app icon and had more presence in the actual event story, but the stamp card defaulted to Tifa's outfit and gave her gear higher stats.
Show PostThen September 2025's Advent Children cross-over, which, imo really favored Cloud and Sephiroth. The selected movie scenes cut out a ton of Tifa, and there were no wallpapers of her and Cloud together, but she still got her flowers in the sense that her AC fit made it as a gear!

Show PostThe Ever Crisis 2.5 Anniversary event was more Aerith-focused, but Tifa gets a new outfit as well. My take? This event was to make up for the fact that Aerith won't be in any more story updates. FF7 story updates are now continuing on with Disc 2 content.
