ever since I got the face work I wanted I literally don't care about body checking or looking for the same kind of validation any more it's insane I'm so much mentally sounder and I body / face check like a quarter of the time I used to trying to look right to myself.

Not specifically but I have had similar experiences where I was awakened by pure intestinal hellfire at 3:30am and said to myself "worth it" while stumbling out of the shower and back into bed
