I love #birds. We have lots of birds in the yard and in the nearby marshes and beaches. I photograph them, but Iately I've been drawing and painting birds. Here is a pastel painting of a red-tailed hawk.
Show PostI was surprised to this bluebird pair at the feeder a week ago. Didn't see them again so thought they may be passing through going South. But I just saw them again today! Will they stay for the Winter here on Cape Cod? #birds
Show PostHere on Cape Cod, we are sometimes lucky to see these beauties up close in the marshes or flying overhead. I love painting these #birds. Great Blue Heron, pastel 9x12
Show PostI took this photo of a catbird last summer. I was sitting in the garden reading and it landed nearby and began a serenade. I hadn't noticed the beautiful colors before in this 'gray' bird. #birds
