Ofc this isn't a format i or anyone have exclusive rights to, and i am sure this show will be very good, but it's extremely funny to me how the guardian describes "a podcast where two people talk about historic figures who suck" as a novel concept www.theguardian.com/education/20...

Tunic's problem is that it starts as a really fun, clever Zelda type game but partway through someone *clearly* shoehorned Dark Souls combat in in a game that can't use it and in fact gets stopped dead in its tracks by it. I love DS but not every game needs tightly timed combat dodges. Most don't.

red dead redemption 2. I tried. i think i put like 30 or 40 hours in. its extremely beautiful, the story and characters are compelling, its just... not that fun to play

Might risk lighting a fire with this one, but... Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I respect the impact that it had, but I didn't grow up with it, which... kind of felt like I was missing the key to appreciating some of its more archaic traits (especially in comparison to later Zelda games).
