Well I'm VERY myopic here, but I kinda hope that you're right, considering I'm going to be that 10-year PhD from Europe submitting next year
Show Post…whether the huge increase in applications (this seems like what drives the drop in %) is a testament to how other funding agencies have been depleted and how precarious early/mid-stage academic career is, or to how much people started using AI to write their proposals (or both)
