Getting anything done when dealing with big companies has become so much harder since AI. Before you can speak to a human being you have to wade through endless 'digital assistant' nonsense. Half an hour of my time wasted on this today.

Similar experience when I went back to a tiny Greek island that I'd spent a few months on in the early 80's. It had dirt roads and working donkeys, only 1 car on the island. Now millionaire central - I hated it.
