Used to work in a small cafe in Carlisle when I overheard a young man deliberating with his friend whether he should move to London or not and was waiting for a sign. I stuck London Calling on and the look he gave his friend stuck with me and I really hope he made it to London.

My mate got divorced last year and went full midlife crisis, formed a band and self funded an album. It's bloody awful, he can't sing and plays guitar like he's trying to saw it in half. But I tell him it's great and I go to all his gigs, cos he's my pal and I love him.

My 4 yo son has been watching Paw Patrol. One time he saw Trump on TV and asked who it was. I told him it was Mayor Humdinger. Now, every time he sees Trump on TV, he says Mayor Humdinger is here. I feel the similarity is uncanny.
