What actually counts as libel (not just “they were rude”) For a libel claim, all of this has to be true: 1. False statement of fact Not opinion, not exaggeration, not vibes A claim presented as fact that is untrue 2. Published to others Public posts, quote-posts, screenshots, threads = yes
Show PostCalling out racism in a Black space isn’t “dragging” anyone, it’s accountability. Reframing it as an attack on trans people avoids the real issue. This started because a Black man unapologetically told people making racist posts to stop being racist.
