Wikipedia whatever its flaws is the closest that we have to what the early pioneers envisioned the internet would be. It‘s a compendium of knowledge that tries to be objective, is non commercial, doesn’t have ads or tracking etc. The polar opposite of the modern commercial internet.

Agree, although would add “longer than a new iPhone charge”. With Apple”s designed obsolescence policy, a charge would be only a day for an iPhone that is a couple of years old…and she did just manage that!
