At my gym, which is admittedly full of olds, there was a half hour stretch where every song was from 1976-1988. I am pretty sure gyms in 1995 weren’t playing Bill Haley and the Comets. My theories - old people weren’t in the gym in 1995; or we’ve been in a nostalgia k-hole since roughly 2000.

Following "Hope and Glory" with "Where the Heart Is" was weird. "Heart" isn't good and I've never bothered to rewatch, but it has visual moments that I can still picture 35+ years later. I'll look for "Boorman and the Devil."

Saw BOORMAN AND THE DEVIL and one of the most impressive things about it is that it verifies Friedkin's apocryphal-sounding account of EXORCIST II's test screening by digging up a first-hand witness whose friend started the revolt that caused the execs to flee the theatre in terror.
