It looks great!! if you want advice - what’s helped me is working off recipes for a loooong time. you get a feel for the rhythm of cooking that way imo. cooking can also be more experimental than baking in terms of amounts, cooking times, seasonings, etc.

But nobody starts out just knowing this information it's just something you learn over time with practice and lots of cooking tutorials.

If you've gone to a place 10 times then yeah you probably don't need to follow the recipe anymore and understand what the ratio between the ingredients is. At a certain point you might even learn what each ingredient does in the context of the recipe and be able to add/subtract things to your tasete
