My third PhD paper, with Sha Jiang, is out as an MPIDR WP. We compare kinship estimates from matrix kinship models and SOCSIM microsimulation using Swedish data (1950–2100). When assumptions are harmonised, both models produce similar mean kin numbers and ages.📄 Full paper: doi.org/10.4054/MPID...
