I’ve got mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I agree with you, but my main concern is when it comes to seeking a second or even third opinion. Additional opinions become worthless if diff. Doctors feed the X-ray to the same 3rd party AI, so some discourse/disclosure seem necessary.

* more sophisticated & resource intensive triaging of content that would be otherwise infeasible at realtime, especially for smaller orgs * buying time for manual review of edge cases * more privacy & surveillance friendly because it’s (hopefully!) not taking place on user devices
