maybe will write more about this but for now it’s so unusually limp it feels illuminating about what we should expect the next four years. i hope im wrong & will wait until after jan 20 to see if it changes but folks (broadly) are staying really really checked out right now.

there should be a ton of noise right now. i should be running around like a chicken with its head cut off scrambling to cover all the protests popping off by big orgs. they were able to rally tons of people for donation drives to harris. and now…..

it’s pretty concerning that dems aren’t mobilizing major protests or sharing demos by marginalized communities advocating for their own behalf. not with a bang, but a whimper.

I have a confession. I can't do tiktok. I'm sorry, it's just too brain melty and mushy. I open the app and its a bombardment of stimuli, it's like "What if cocomelon was made for teenagers and adults?" and my brain rejects it outright, like a body would reject chugging a liter of vodka.

i’ve been thinking about this lately but it’s so incredibly sad but funny that it’s surprising that there’s social media still out there that is good for writers or content creators in general. bluesky is leagues above every other social media right now it’s kind of astonishing
