I don’t want to write like a whole #eo think piece on a skeet Chris Meloni skeeted and flee-ted but it does seem like both writing teams need the leads to remain tortured and lonely to uphold the Stoic Hero trope and that is. Lame.

In retrospect, I DID like last nights episode a lot. I really did - it moved fast, finally got to see Cop Carisi again which I liked (I hate how they’ve written his character recently) - I don’t hate Rollisi. But..: what they’ve done to Olivia is just sad sad sad. The writing for her is NOT it

Ya know they really pointed to Carisi having a wife/family… And that some how gave him a need to get out of the situation and put Olivia in…. Elliot LOVES her and she has a son who only has her. She has worth too damn it and it doesn’t even have to come from other people!
