One of very few movies where not a single moment is wasted. Every single minute and line of dialogue has a purpose, all killer with no filler. I love that the film riders from the book shop much as well. Imagine being a first time director and having the balls to completely rewrite the material.

Thanks goodness for that. Can’t believe how poor we were after they went to nine men. Horrendous decision making all over the pitch, but mainly in the final third. All that matters is three points though, so I’ll take that.

Hard to overstate how big it is to win a match like this after a European away with a squad as thin as Liverpool’s at the moment. In that context, performance quite decent, even if decision making questions are very apparent.
