Show PostI went on a night tour of Oku no In, our guide was a local monk. I learned a lot of new things. One fact was that during the Edo period there were 2000 temples, now there are 117 of which 50 are lodges.
Show Post弘法大師様は朝4時３０分で起きて観想したので、奥の院は２４時間開いている。 たくさんの参拝者は速朝に行って空海様に挨拶している。 Kōbō Daishi would wake up at 4:30am and mediate, so Oku no In is open 24/7. A lot of worshippers will get up early and go and greet him there.
