looked into this a bit and i am pretty optomistic. i was worried i'd have to agree to let it send all my blood sugar readings to some company's server somewhere, in which case i wouldn't want a cgm at all, but there are promising FOSS alternatives that work with most CGM sensors. my blood is safe
