It’s difficult to imagine any response against Hamas post-October 2023 that wouldn’t have been immediately labeled genocide. Your second assertion feels like it was the motivating point behind the terror.

Right, but do we in this case of this one group? I agree that we do not, that people not personally affected by antisemitism are wildly comfortable making all sorts of claims about it that is at best very rare in any other demographic context.

I think if someone tried to suggest that being called a transphobe negatively polarizes people into being transphobes, they would no longer be welcome on this app, or really in many left-of-center spaces writ large.
