Living my absolute best life last night under crystal clear skies: migrating geese loudly honking across the loch and owls hooting under the light of the Milky Way. A joy to share it all with lovely friends from @astronomyedinburgh.bsky.social - and boy did they bring some impressive astro kit! 🤗🔭

Show PostA truly epic day at Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium talking with 600 primary school kids for "Ask the Astronomer Royal Anything"! Aliens; black holes; how did the Earth, Sun, Galaxy form?; how did it all begin?; how will it all end? I do so love my job. 🥰🔭🎢 📷: Robin Mair
