Multiple people have compared the reaction to SA to the reaction to this HBomberguy video and I guess the one thing I have to contribute is that that video had three plagiarists in it and people only ever bring up the gay man and the woman.

Probably THE most persuasive tool we have as Video Essayists is using ourselves as the uncomfortable example The fact that in 10 years he never made a video about this "life-changing rehabilitation," a thing many young people NEED to learn about, in my mind makes his work cowardly & self-serving 💁

We put him IN videos about SA and SH, what is performative about acknowledging how absolutely fucked up that is I would stop using the word "performative" to describe people's valid emotions about this, it's a hair away from calling someone a liar
