Yep. Partly why I dislike it too. I haven't been on a Friday or Saturday night in years, having been turned off by the party boat going by with Grease megamix playing as the climax of a film takes place. The audience isn't interested in the films either. They just want the 'social experience'.

Back home after the Sydney trip. Worth driving for ten hours total to see Hope in IMAX? For sure. We had a great time. After 5 weekends straight spent travelling far from home to film events. I’m desperate for a rest. Loved visiting the Newtown Dendy and George Street event again, too.
