It might not be an exaggeration to say that he taught me, the heavily autistic kid, how to relate to others and find community in sincerity. That would eventually lead to the creation of Kazamatsuri, a short lived but beautiful online community that connected me with so many amazing people.

I really can't understate how much of an impact Jun Maeda had on me. I wouldn't be who I am without his work. My sense of humour was very strongly influenced by his, but he also helped me reconnect with my humanity and nurture my sense of empathy. He taught me to cry over fictional characters.

The most obvious fallacy in political analysis is concluding that every winning campaign did everything right and every losing campaign did everything wrong. So obviously wrong that no one defends it outright. But so many people fall into the trap anyway. All the time.
