I went and grabbed a quick bite to eat. I went by the house. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I grabbed a phone charger for Chuck’s phone and some reading material. Chuck is in his hospital room. He still has not seen the doctor. I asked the nurse to track the doctor down.

I’m pretty sure my last words on this Earth will be “I’m sorry.” I find myself apologizing for everything these days. I want so much to make things better. I know I can’t. But, I do try to provide ‘gifts’ for friends, when I can, to bring them a little moment of happiness.

I don’t know much. But, after 6 1/2 hours in the emergency department, Chuck is going to be admitted into the hospital.
