Watched Goon, a 2011 hockey comedy with Sean William Scott, the other night. It's from that fascinating micro-era of pop culture where it was no longer OK to be homophobic, and protagonists had to be established as open-minded. But also screenwriters had not evolved past using "gay" as a punchline.
