Bluesky is an anomaly in that most people do actually listen to 'proship DNI'. Many platforms don't. The only reason I state NSFW/Proship DNI here is because it actually works. Beyond that, "I block anyone I don't like" is a better catch-all than "basic DNI criteria".
Show PostYou're better off just stating you don't fuck with racism or homophobia if you want to make a moral statement, rather than by telling racists and homophobes not to interact with you.
Show PostBesides, a DNI should not be the end-all be-all approach to preventing unwanted interaction. The block button is free. If someone interacts with you that you don't want to interact with, you block and move on. If it escalates to harassment, report it. Bluesky usually listens to user reports.
