Dreadful decision. The oil companies lied and lied about global warming. They knew what would happen but put profits first. This will not reduce your energy bills but will increase Shell’s profits. The plutocrats have won. Vote Green when you can like your life depends on it - because it does.

Approving the Jackdaw gas field solves none of our problems, while contributing to the existential crisis of climate breakdown. The government has privileged special interests above the general interest. It's a shameful, cowardly decision.
