Just wrote basically an application essay email on why the environmental org should consider letting my 13yo (next weekend I’ll have two teens 😱) take whale watcher volunteer training and then be a volunteer docent (with her dad!) despite their usual 14yo age requirement. A mom-book. 🤞🤞🤞

It’s a bit different doing a road trip on your own…..no one to perceive you, no one to comment on anything you do (wrong)….can stop anytime you need to rather than when someone begrudgingly stops for you…

Vancouver, I am impressed. I arrived today, and have seen more people out and about wearing face masks than I have seen in any part of Australia in the past couple of years. And 3 of the Air Canada flight attendants wore masks for the entire 15 hour flight from Sydney. Well done!
