I never thought I’d get a copy of @shearwaterband.bsky.social’s Winged Life because it went out of print so long ago, but I managed to nab it as part of the IndieGoGo for The New World. Now I think the only Shearwater vinyl I’m missing is Shesrwater Plays Lodger. I even have the “This Year” single!

I think @shearwaterband.bsky.social's The New World should be considered for any audiophile headphone testing. The dynamics, instrument warmth, vocal presence, & textures are all so well recorded and the mix is stunningly good at creating a cohesive whole but yet letting all the elements have space.
