Seems unlikely, although I would be happy to see a UMass home and home on the schedule. Certainly better than the fucking Liberty one currently on the schedule. Not sure I'm ever going to stop being mad about that one.

They played 1-2 times per year from the 70s through the early 90s. Both were independents for most of that time. Then Notre Dame went to the Big East, and it was all over.

I don't really think college basketball exhibitions mean much of anything, but the Dayton Flyer men did beat traditional rival (aka team that won't play them in the regular season*) Notre Dame last night, which is good. *Shoutout to UC who is willing to play a home and home with Dayton
